Our    Vision   of    Sustainable    Fashion

In the recent years fashion has shown its dark side by revealing unethical working conditions of people in the sewing factories, depletion of natural resources, environmental pollution and of course I cannot fail to mention the tons of unsold clothes that are destroyed every minute all over the world. This must change.

As a clothing brand, VG PARIS feels the duty to promote and contribute into ethical, sustainable fashion by creating convertible and reversible clothing which is the answer to the fast fashion and overconsumption.

As convertible and reversible clothing transforms and changes its silhouette it adapts your look to multiple events during your day.

You don't need a lot of clothes in your wardrobe — you just need the right ones.

Enjoy this freedom to change your look in a blink of an eye, travel light and keep your closet refined and minimal spreading eco conscious lifestyle.

Transparent          Approach    To    Fashion

I want our customers to know that their clothing was made in ethical conditions from fashion sketch to production and packaging.

Putting into light every step of clothing creation process and the impact it has on society and environment, I want to share

VG PARIS values and commitment to make fashion of today and tomorrow more conscious and more transparent.

The partnership with ROOTIP brings our initiatives to another level.

Ethically  From  Sketch  To  Your  Wardrobe

1

Everything starts from a sketch and my pleasure is to paint my fashion sketches with watercolors.

Then I start to draw the technical drawing to mark all the details  that will allow me to create the pattern of the future garment.

The following step is the conception of the prototype. I love to sew the very first model myself like this I am aware of every little detail of a creative process and what does it actually take to bring a garment to life.

Once an order was passed the production begins. For this, I bring the patterns, fabrics and the prototypes to a Parisian atelier where the VG PARIS garments are produced by experienced tailors who are happy to share their know-how.

All VG PARIS garments are handmade — to order. It means no overproduction, no unsold stock — just freshly created authentic pieces specially for you.

Local production avoids unnecessary carbon emission as VG PARIS clothes travel just once — from us to you.

And for sure, from a fashion sketch to production I pay a special attention to every minutiae of each garment, because I know how small details make incredible difference.

One of the most exciting steps is the choice of fabrics. Recently, I started to make more sustainable choices when it comes to material — now I opt for the deadstock fabrics.

There are several shops in Paris that became my favourite because they propose authentic European fabrics and sewing accessories of an exceptional quality.

Thus, by buying deadstock materials and producing locally I am sure to reduce carbon footprint and environmental impact.
